Overall, Taqueria America offers a true taste of Mexico in the heart of New York. Don't miss out on the opportunity to indulge in some of the best tacos the area has to offer!

these are one of the best tacos i've had in ny/nj. the flavor is so good where you don't even need sauces with it. this has been my go to spot for tacos and i will definitely be coming back. the cons however is that there isn't a menu with prices on it so you're basically ordering blindly. i would say that each taco is around $3 from my experiences. also, the steak and beef were a bit dry so i would recommend to skip those meats for tacos

Love the food!!! We came because the place was recommended to us by some friends and sure enough the food did not disappoint. I got a steak taco, Al pastor taco and a tripa taco. The tripe one was my favorite! They were all super super good and the salsas were good! The red one was my favorite. The service was fast and super good, they came to check on us and got things to us relatively fast. I don't want to judge the place just cause it looks like they just moved to that location. But honestly it didn't even matter the food was super good! The only only thing is I got a margarita and it was a pre mix one which I didn't like so I didn't end up drinking it. However! The food amazing.

The beef tacos were super delicious. The chicken tacos were very bland, but the green sauce helped. The green sauce had a tad of zing to it, it was tasty. The chorizo was good. My wife really liked some of the things I didn't really like. There was something delicious for both of us. We paid $18 for 6 tacos. I would definitely return. The kitchen seems to really know their business and did a great job.

Great spot to grab tacos. I went in, ordered at the counter and food was brought out, along with the house salsas. I ordered lengua (tongue), tripa (tripe), y chivo (goat). The lengua taco was good, chopped but identifiable, and the tripa was A+ being a bit crunchy and flavorful. All of the tacos came topped the same with onions and cilantro (which was bearable to me and my cilantro gene). The tacos come with limes, a charred onion, and house sauces- the red is less spicy than the green. The sabado y domingo portion of the menu is just things that are available on Saturday and Sunday, such as the barbacoa de chivo, tamales, caldo de pensa, the foods that take time. I would have been tempted but then... tacos. On another weekend visit I would for sure want to try the barbacoa. I wasn't sure if it would be just a counter or not but there are a number of large tables in their space, and the staff will bring the food to you once you order. It's a ultilarian place trying to feed their people on the cheaper side while still giving them tasty food. Parking - it's all street. Tuck in your side mirrors. The streets are narrow. They take card and cash, but the prices are not listed on the menu.

Came here on a whim cause I've seen it packed one night. I ordered a bistec (steak) torta (Mexican sandwich) it was sooo good! I'd rather come here and order this food from now on than get fast food. The lady behind the counter was nice. Will come here again!

My friends and I stopped to pick up these tacos after a day of drinking at a nearby winery. I was sold at the word tacos but these exceeded my expectations WOW. They were absolutely delicious. We ordered a mix of Al pastor, carnitas, and steak tacos. They were juicy, flavorful, and filling. The guac was so fresh and went perfectly with the meal. This will definitely be a go to taco spot for me in the future.

Taqueria. A restaurant that serves Tacos. Linguineria. A Yelper that serves the harsh yet beloved truth. These is the finest tacos in the area. It's not even close. Me love taco. These the tacos you want, trust me sucka. They travel well which is a game changer. Even good the next day. Double soft shell, just in case you drop anything into a well. Checks all the boxes. Bang for ya Buck in terms of quantity to price. Loads of protein options. Side of guac. Chips. Salsas. Onion bulbs. Cilantro. All made to order. Tortas. Oh man, oh man. Dios Mio, Gracias!!! Me siento picante. It be getting hawtttt in here. Linguini knows Espanol? Linguinis knows all. Remain on your toes in my presence and maybe you'll soak up some of my effervescence. The establishment gives a true authentic experience to those craving authenticity in a world filled with fraud and impurity. This feeling is addicting. It made me posthumously recognize, appreciate and ponder the significance of Taco Tuesday. A day that is synonymous for tounging down some tacos. All ages, all walks of life. But there's a catch. Unlike other rambunctious and weightless modern traditions, this one is synonymous because it's actually followed. So many people actually eat tacos on Tuesdays. It's loony to think about. They've penetrated our minds. Through our eagle eyes, our noble noses and our enigmatic esophagi. Who started Taco Tuesday? Were people eating tacos on Tuesdays prior to the inception of the tradition? Or is it peak marketing strategy. Business Guy. The Four P's... I know them, I live them. Whatever. It's not worth thinking about who'll end it.... For an end isn't in sight. Nor should we wish the end of glory, this life is beautiful in every sense of the word. We are blessed creatures. Souls of paradise. Roll the dice on glory my friends. Apologies for the SOH CAH TOA Tangent I'm just a curious cat trynna make sense out of the senseless. Centless. Sono Al Verde. I'm running dry. Why? Why me? I'm just a man without a plan. I need a meeting with the money man.... Back to the Tacos! ESPN 30 for 30: Linguini and the Taco Challenge. I'm putting back 30 of these in 30 minutes with ease. Double shell and all. And it'll be joyous for I, and joyous for they watching. No vomit. Like this vomit of words I put together today. What do we think about hard shell tacos? Alright, what am I doing. Shameful performance LB. I'll be back stronger than ever soon enough. Stay Sharp Signora/Signor.

This place is very authentic. The place doesn't look like much from the inside, but the food is very good! I travel from Woodland Park NJ just to have their tacos

Tacos were great. Had the beef tripe and steak tacos. For $3 a taco, it's great deal. When you walk in, right away you can tell it's authentic!!! Will be back again soon.
